The department of Sociology of C.K.B.College, Teok carried out a Community Development  Programme on “ Socio-economic status of blacksmiths: A case study on Kaliapani Muslim gaon” on 26^th September, 2018.

Objectives:

1.      To find out social status of this section of this professionals.

2.      To find out economic status of this section of professionals.

3.      To aware this section of professionals about the government schemes and modern technology for their economic development.

4.      To associate the students in research activities, so that they can learn practical knowledge of social research and learn to analyze the social issues, which will be applicable for their future studies.
