To assess the level of awareness about personal hygiene and practices on personal hygiene among adolescent girls studying in 8th to 12th standard.</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", "serif"; background-color: transparent; text-align: center;">2. To assess the level of awareness about mensturation and mentural hygiene among girls</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", "serif"; background-color: transparent; text-align: center;">3. To elicit the belief , conception and source of information regarding menturation among the study population.</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", "serif"; background-color: transparent; text-align: center;">4. To determine the association between the knowledge and practice on mentural hygiene among the girls.</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", "serif"; background-color: transparent; text-align: center;">Results:</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", "serif"; background-color: transparent; text-align: center;">The school of study was significantly influencing the awareness about menarche.</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", "serif"; background-color: transparent; text-align: center;">The respondent's class of study , School, Domicle , mothers education , Type of house were significantly influencing the method of disposal of absorbents.</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", "serif"; background-color: transparent; text-align: center;"> The respondent school of study was significantly influencing the coping strategies during menstrual pain.</span></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", "serif"; background-color: transparent; text-align: center;"><br></span></p></div></div> | |
