Educational tour to Pachighat

The department of Sociology of CKB college, Teok organized an educational tour to Pachighat, Arunachal Pradesh on 16^th Dec, 2021. The programme was lead by Prof. Gobinda Borah, Assistant Professor Department of Political Science and Ms. Mayashree Buragohain, Assistant Professor, Department of Sociology.  Total 44 students of BA 5^th Semester and 3^rd semester participate in  the programme. the students visited APA( Apex Professional Academy and various historical places of Pachighat. 

Outcome:

The outcome of the tour can be mentioned as follows-

1.      The students is  acquiring new knowledge or modifying the existing knowledge, skills , behaviours, values or preferences.

2.      It offers perfect informal setup for discussion, dialogues and experiences which helps to developing various life skills.

3.      It offers deep social and historical knowledge.

4.      It develops critical thinking of participants

5.      It learns to respect for culture.

6.      It enhances perspective of student participants.

7.      It increases effective communication of participants.
