Ø  Objectives:

·         To exchange the interdisciplinary knowledge for benefits of the students.

Ø  Highlight:

·         Department of political science and department of sociology collaborativelyorganised  a teacher exchange programme in  December 2020. The exchange programme included discussions on multidisciplinary subjects that helped in widening of the knowledge and outlook of the students.

·         In this programmed invited as a subject expert speaker MrsRitanjalisaikia (Associate professor) of the department of political science .She gave a lecture on the topic on ‘Buddhism in Indian Philosophy and its Relevance on Indian political thought.’

·         MrsNijaraBarua (Assistant professor) of the department of sociology gave a lecture on ‘Budhism and its Relevance on Present Society.’

·         The programme was mainly interactive programme .The interactive session started with question of the student.

Ø  Outcome:

·         Students got benefited in regard to Buddhist Thoughts and principles and particularly its relevance in the 21^st century.  They were able to understand and do a comparative analysis of various religious ideologies which even helped in their course development.
