·         Students and Teachers of Department of Political Science.

Ø  Objective:

·         To give the students a wider perspective on the topic related State and Democracy in India and its challenges.

·         To also understand the relevance of democratic ideals in the contemporary world at large.

Ø  Outcome:

·         The students got to understand the wider and deeper meaning of ‘State’

·         They also were made aware about the various perspectives on democracy like Deliberative Democracy and its usage.

·         The students interacted with the resource person and asked questions on Uniform Civil Code, Human Rights and Democracy.
