PROGRAMME : National Literacy Day Celebrated at Ghurasuwa L.P School, Habigoan

Ø  Objectives :

·         To promote information on literacy values to the entire GhurasuwaHabigoan community by developing engaged learning strategies to strengthen awareness and welfare activities.

·         Deliver progressive information on literacy instruction from foundational concepts to the current ongoing governmental awareness programmes related to literacy of women and adult-education especially.

·         Donate books to locals and encourage elementary education and help open libraries to keep young students interested in reading.

Ø  Activities Conducted in the Literary Activity:

·         Donated study materials like stationary and gifted books to the local children.

Ø  Outcome:

The programmes and activities conducted on the literacy day at GhurasuwaHabigoan had helped to remind the community of the importance of literacy as a matter of dignity and human rights. It has also helped to advance the literacy agenda towards a more literate and sustainable society.
