Inter-disciplinary Class with Department of Education on ‘Education System in India from Ancient to Modern’ A team teaching class was organised on 31st May 2022 on the theme 'Education System in India from Ancient to Modern' and where the resource person was Mr. Jiban Baruah ,assistant professor in the department of education ,C.K.B.College,Teok .He has very beautifully summed up the contributions of the ancient India's philosophers and brilliant educationists like Aryabhatta who before the declaration made by Kepler and Galileo in the 15th and 16th century said and gave evidence about the fact that the earth revolves around the sun with fixed days and time and radius from the Earth to the Sun had been calculated accurately by the great philosopher scientist . The ancient Indian education system gave emphasis upon the soul-force or the atma shakti where the body has been considered as impernance or the anitya .The individual has no role upon the body and only the supreme knowledge about the atma could give the touch of knowledge to know the features of specific role over the body and the mind. The ancient education system of India gave emphasis upon the world imperfections and how the proper spiritual exercises and philosophy could make the task little bit simpler in terms of getting a way out as enlightenment . The colonial system of education joined up the objectives of education of achieving the goal of employment and there was no relation with the atmaic force.
