College, Teok</span></span><div><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif; font-size: 18.6667px; font-weight: 700;">The interdisciplinary class was organised by the department of history to acquaint the students regarding the latest trend of thinking in the other fields of study and for that purpose we invited Ms. Mainu Teronpi ,assistant professor ,department of English ,C.K.B College ,Teok .Ms.Teronpi is an alumni of the Assam University , Diphu Campus and she has a lively interests beyond her subject in the film studies or making of the documentaries. Dr. Ambuj Thakur introduced the resource person to the students . She had underlined the trajectories of the novel and its nature of creating new stories in a criss crossing way gave a new beginning to the end of every storyline .The novelist Amitabh Ghosh was awarded the Sahitya Akademi for that novel and where he tried to narrate the stories adopting different timelines since the Swadeshi movement of 1905 to the Communal riots in the post-colonial phases in Calcutta and Dhaka. </span></div> | |
