Student Home Visit A visit to the houses of the students of the department was conducted by the Department of History, C.K.B. College, Teok. This visit continued for three days, covering a total distance of 124 kms. The areas included under the visit are Hanchara, Chirakhunda, Bhogamukh, and Khonamukh (17/04/2018), Najgaon, Chakulibor, Namsisu, and Teok (20/04/2018), Bonai, Pirakata-Bhorolua Gaon (25/04/2018).This visit was very fruitful as through this visit the faculty members were able to know many difficulties of the students. Most of the students lives in the rural areas and have to travel a long distance to college. The material condition of the houses are extremely poor. It has came to light that many students did not attend regular classes as they were unable to pay the high transportation rate. To solve their issue, the department conducts online classes for those students regularly. This initiative of the department helps those students to stay connected with the curriculum and learn without facing any barriers.
