A Field Visit to Kolkata & Digha A field trip to the famous city of Kolkata was organised with the support from the college authority and which had been made possible because of the guidance of Mr. Arup Kr. Borthakur, Head of the Department of History. Mr. Borthakur along with faculty from the Department of Commerce Mrs. Gita Sharma and with 11 students from our department started their journey from the Amguri Railway Junction on 16th October 2019 and the team reached at Kolkata on 18th October, 2019. The major places of attraction of the city where the team members visited were the Victoria Memorial, Howarh Junction & Bridge, Indian Museum etc. Moreover, they have also submitted a report of their visit to Kolkata.
