A Scholarly Lecture on 'The Change in the forms and patterns of Western English Literature with special reference to historical phases' was organised by the Department of History, C.K.B. College, Teok on the month of December, 2020. The speaker of this lecture was Dr. Moyuri Chetia who is a faculty member of the Department of English, C.K.B. College, Teok. She beautifully brought out the subject and enlightened the students of the department with many unknown facts.

Dr. Mayuri Chetiya spoke beautifully on the topic and she mainly focused on Western English Literature. According to her, "Literature can be poetry, drama, prose: fiction and non-fiction. She analysed on the eight different historical phases of English literature:

4) Neo-Classical Period

5) Romantic Period

6) Victorian Perod

7) Modern Period

8) Post-Modern Period
