Team Teaching on 'Social Formations and Cultural Patterns of the Ancient World' 

A Team Teaching on 'Social Formations and Cultural Patterns of the Ancient World' was organised by the Department of History, C.K.B. College, Teok on the month of September, 2019. The chief tutor of the team teaching was Mr. Kishore Goswami who is a faculty member of the Department of History, J.B. College, Jorhat. In his lecture he gave emphasis upon the scientific methods of studying the evolution of the early human society and how the process of tool making revolutionized the pre-history of the human being and the gradual improvement in the use of tools and technology contributed to the standardization of the patterns of living also . The social formation was made organized and precise because of the changes in the production relation and above all the division of labour shaped the position of the social classes in the organisation of the society which in turn helped in giving a shape to the culture also.
