To sensitize the youth of today and inculcate in them the values of empathy and compassion, i.e. - the capacity to feel what is to live in somebody else's skin and feel their pain and to provide them a helping hand, the Alumni Association, department of English, C. K. B. College, Teok organised a visit to Sarothi Old age Home, Lichubari, Jorhat as a part of their charity programme titled - "Humanity and Charity Aid to Sarothi Old Age Home."
