The Department of English, C.K. B. College organized A Virtual Talk on Burnout in Students during Pandemic and Post-pandemic the 9th February 2021 for the students of the English Department comprising 2nd, 4th and 6th semester. Rita Duraipindi, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology, Royal College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Miraroad, Thane was the resource person of the said programme.

The objective of the programme was to help students cope up with burnout which is now commonly found among the students as well, especially post-pandemic period. The students suffering from burnout do not realise it as a problem and seldom talk about it to their parents or elders. The programme aims at making the students understand what Burnout is and how to tackle it. It further explains that there is no taboo or stigma attached to being “burned out”. The programme helps them to understand certain signs and symptoms attached to Burnout through a detailed presentation. A total number of 32 students participated in the program.
