The Department of English organised a Poem Recitation Competition for the students at Baghmora Resort, Jorhat on 23rd February 2020. The students were given the poem "Solitary Reaper" by William Wordsworth to recite. Puja Borah, a student of 4th semester was winner of the competition. Dikshita Das, a student of second semester was the given the consolation prize.
