| As part of its Team Teaching Programme, the Department of English, Chandra Kamal Bezbaruah College, Teok arranges a special class on Abhijnana Sakuntalam, on 23.09.2019. To deliver a lecture on the topic, Dr. Deepa Rani Goswami, Associate Professor, Department of Sanskrit, D.C.B. Girls' College was invited as resource person. In her lecture, Dr. Goswami addresses mainly two aspects: i) Rasa Theory in Abhijnana Sakuntalam ii) Duty vs. Love. Mrs. Yasmin Khan, faculty of the department also delivered a brief lecture on "Natural World, the Body, and the Spiritual Beauty in Abhijnana Sakuntalam". During the interactive session, both Dr. Goswami and Yasmin Khan respond to the questions raised by the students. | ||
