| A Six-day students' workshop on developing communicative skills in English was organised by the department of English, CKB College, Teok. Objective of the workshop: To provide guidance and assistance to the students who are poor in English Communicative skills through an intensive teaching by some experts in the field with text tailored for the purpose. There were three technical sessions held everyday, out of which two sessions were conducted by resource persons invited from outside the College and one, by some teachers of the college. Organizers have also decided to arrange sessions which would be conducted by resource persons belonging to disciplines other than English so that, students can have some basic ideas in regard of study techniques.
