A LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME:

The department of education, C.K.B. College, Teok, organised a two-month leadership development programme for the students of neighbouring school. The programme was carried out by the students of the department of education and Political Science. Before that students from the Department of Education attended seven days personality development and leadership development programme organized by Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Jorhat. The programme included training on Yoga and the acquisition of human, moral and citizenship qualities of life.

The students attending the training programme were motivated by the department and Vivekananda Kendra Jorhat to organize it for the students of the neighbouring school. Accordingly, the programme was organized. The programme included practice of Yoga, meditation, positive affirmation, discipline and human values.

The duration of the programme was from 19/08/2023 to 29/09/2023 with two days in a week. Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari Jorhat showed great support and assistance in this regard with their guidance throughout the programme.
