| International Yoga Day has been organized by Education Department, Students Service Centre, Yoga Centrre,NSS of C.K.B College, Teok, jointly on 21st June, 2023. The Yoga programme was organized among the students and Teachers of the college which was also attended by some people of neighboring area. Along with the students and teachers of the college some people from neighbouring community willingly joined the programme. Mr. Nalin Sarmah, and Mr. Nikhil Borah, prominent yoga teachers from V.K.V Jorhat participated in the programme as resource persons. The programme was started at 9 A.M. Mr Nalin Sarmah in his brief introductory speech spoke about the importance of Yoga and its benefit in our day-today life which was followed by demonstration of different yoga postures and pranayamas by him and Mr. Nikhil Borah. The programme continued up to 11.30 A.M. A total of 150 participants participated in this event. | ||
