The Department of Education and the Department of political science conducted an interdepartmental class on democracy. The objective of the interdepartmental class was to provide the students an more flexible classroom environment and to understand the subject from a varied perspective. On behave of the department of political science Dr. Dipak Kumar Sarma delivered lecture on democracy and its features while Mr. Dipen patra and Mr. Jiban Boruah representing Department of Education spoke about the significance of education in democracy.
