Summary: The department organized an awareness program on Right to Education Act among the women's of Teok Tea garden of Teok with objective of generation of awareness among the tea garden community. The people participated in the programme were mostly labourer and daily wage earner. Through the programme the parents were motivated to send their children to the school and told that  their children have the right to have the opportunity for education.  The programme was attended  by 60 participants.
