On 30 th March 2017 the Department of Education, C.K.B.College, Teok organized an inter college workshop on Yoga The objective of the workshop was to make students aware about the importance of " Yogavyas" as a health care practice in our daily life and to help them to learn different yoga postures. Mr. Sunit Kumar Baruah, the vice president of Vivekananda Kendra Jorhat was invited as the resource person of the workshop. Mr. Baruah in his speech stressed the importance of  yogic practices. He elaborately spoke about the significance of pranayam and dhyana in day today life. He also  exhibited some easy asanas and pranayamas and motivated the students to practice these regularly.
