The department of Economics CKB College Teok organized an extension programme as HEALTH AND HYGIENE AWARENESS CAMP at Arunamukh Mishing Gaon,Janjimukh. The programme was held with the financial assistance of University Grant Commisison (UGC) for extension activities. As a part of this programme one public meeting was held  under the chairmanship of prof. Norendra Nath Saikia at Major Chapori Govt. Basic School,Arunamukh Mishing Gaon under 5 no Pub- Teok Gaon Panchayat.

OBJECTIVES-

1. To aware the people about the health and hygiene .

2. To aware the people about sanitation system.

3. To know about the socio economic status of the people.

OUTCOMES-

                     The public meeting was held in the presence of near about 50 numbers of villagers, a few representatives of NGOs and students. The students participants of department of Economics went to two or three villages near Arunamukh to study the socio- economic and health and hygiene condition of the people.
