The department of Economics ( In association with Career Counseling Cell )  organized a workshop on "Career in Banking and Financial services" at Golden Jubilee Memorial Hall , CKB COLLEGE, TEOK on 19-05-2022.

Resource Persons  -  1. Mr. BISHWAPRAN BORDOLOI,  chief manager,SBI, KATOKY PUKHURI Branch, Jorhat.
                                   2. Mr. HIMANGSHU KUMAR, SBI, KATOKY PUKHURI Branch, Jorhat.

 The objectives of the workshop are-

1. To aware the students to choose banking as a career in future.
2. To familiarize the job opportunities in the field of Banking, Insurance and Financial services in both public and private sector.
3.  To enhance the knowledge and ability regarding various competitive exams related to Banking and Financial sector.

   OUTCOME -
 More than 60 students belonging to the department of Economics and the department of Commerce were present in the workshop and most of them were benifited  by receiving various informations  from the resource persons.In the interaction session more than 10 students participated actively and cleared their various confusions .
