| Summary: <div>The department of Economics prepared a departmental research project under Seed Money Scheme of CKB College, Teok on " National Health Mission (NHM) and its role in the upliftment of Health Services of Assam; A case study in two villages of Kaliapani Development Block of Jorhat District" . Dr. B.B. Rajkhowa, associate prof. department of Economics was the supervisor of the project. Miss Parishmita Bordoloi (6th sem roll no-4), Sri Jadumoni Nath (5th sem roll no-6)and Miss Chitra Boruah (3rd sem roll no-15) were the principal investigators of the project.</div><div><br></div><div>OBJECTIVES-</div><div><br></div><div>1. To study the status of health services among the rural people lived in two Mishing villages namely Arunamukh Mishing Gaon and Bormouthauri Mishing Gaon under Kaliapani Development Block.</div><div>2. To assess health and hygiene status of Mishing people in this particular locality.</div><div>3.
