| Summary: <div>The department of Economics conducted a survey to study the Socio-Economic & Health Status of the elderly population in three different villages of Teok Revenue Circle and prepare a departmental research project with financial assistance under Seed Money Scheme of the college.</div><div><br></div><div>OBJECTIVES-</div><div><br></div><div>1. To study the demographic trend of elderly population in the study area.</div><div>2. To analyze the socio-economic status of the elderly population in the study area.</div><div>3. To identify the factors effecting health conditions of elderly population.</div><div><br></div><div>OUTCOME-</div><div> <br></div><div> <font size="4" color="blue"> The study was based on primary as well as secondary data collected from the three sample villages - Bam Gual Gaon, Da Gual Gaon and Jogduar.</font> The department prepared a research project on it and submitted it to the IQAC reflecting the economic impact of ageing population and the status of elderly persons in respect of health,living standard etc.<br></div><div><br></div><div> <br></div> | |
