A Special Talk on 12/05/2022 was organised by the Department of Commerce, C.K.B. College, Teok on the topic GST Law and Practice at Punaram Gogoi Conference Hall from 11 am. The resource person for the talk was Mr. Mayank Somani, Chartered Accountant, Somani & Co., Jorhat. The main aim of the talk was to acquaint the students with the practical aspect of GST Law along with the theoretical aspect. The selected topic was also a part of the curriculum of the final semester students. Therefore, final semester along with 2nd and 4th semester students were the targeted audience of the talk.  Mr. Sunil Kumar Bhattacharyya, Rector and Associate Professor, Department of Commerce, C.K.B. College, Teok gave the welcome address followed by the felicitation ceremony and then, the guest took over the platform where he delivered a detailed information of the subject with the use of ICT Tools.  The students were seem to be very interested in the session which was later reflected in the Q & A session as many questions were put forward by them.  The talk turned out to be a successful one and students were highly benefited from the session.
