The department of commerce has taken a decision to make a survey on the socio-economic problem of Kaliapani  Adorsha gaon, on 4^th April 2019 to know the actual status of the villagers living in the gaon and their socio-economic situation. The department also decided to make a survey of 100 families in the area. The faculty members along with 30 numbers of students visited the village and make an arrangement to talk directly with the villagers. The department also prepared a questionnaire with 20 numbers of questions and field-up the questions by asking direct questions to the respondents.

           The findings during the survey by the researchers are as follows-

1) Respondents are not interested to give proper information and are likely to avoid the situation.

2)Literacy rate is very poor.

3)Response rate is 100%.

4)Size of the Universe- 100 nos .household

5) Size of the sample-60%.

6)Nature of the Sample- Random
