·       The event began with a beautiful speech given by Pinky Boruah, 6th Semester student of Assamese department about the significance of publishing a departmental magazine.

·       The inauguration ceremony of departmental magazine ‘Sahityajyoti’ was presided over by  Keshab Hazarika, Head of the Department of Assamese . the principal of C.K.B College, Teok, Dr. Bijoy Krishna Pachani inaugurated the magazines. the faculty members and students of Assamese department attended the programme.
