With reference to the meeting held with the skill
enhancement committee and along with Principal Sir on 09/03/2022, a two day
workshop was organized under “Preparation and Preservation of Pickle and
Juices” on 9th and 10th of June, 2022. This workshop was
hosting local Self-help groups and students of the college. As a resource
person, Jabali Khound, Corporate and Project Manager, SIGMA Spice Industry
(Everyday Spice), Jorhat, was invited. The 2 days objective was to train the participants to
prepare different pickles and juices and they have successfully prepared
‘aampanna’, ‘bel-squash’, and ‘kasundi’. The trainer also imparted the
knowledge and skills of how one can take the road from production to market
with of course proper guidance. There were total 11SHGs and 2 students from 6th
semester. | ||
