Introduction C.K.B.
College, Teok, celebrated Children’s Day on 14th November 2024 with a special “Academic
Outreach and Children's Day Celebration” program. This event aimed to engage
with the local community and inspire young minds from Teok Mojdur LP School.
The event was jointly organized by the Institutional Social Responsibility
(ISR) Committee and the Literary Club of the college. Participation
and Welcome A
group of young students from Teok Mojdur LP School participated in the program.
The Principal of C.K.B. College, Teok, warmly welcomed the students and staff
from the school. In his address, he emphasized the importance of education,
creativity and community collaboration in fostering holistic development. The
students were offered Frooti as
refreshments to make them feel at home and energize them for the activities
planned for the day. Activities
and Competitions The
Literary Club of C.K.B. College organized a variety of activities and
competitions to inspire and engage the visiting students. These included a poem
recitation, singing competition, painting competition and dance competition.
The Literary Club carefully managed the schedule, ensuring all activities ran
seamlessly, while volunteers from the college assisted in setting up and
supporting the students, making the event a memorable experience for everyone
involved. Visit to the
Central Library As
part of the academic outreach component, the visiting students were taken to
the Central Library of the college. They were introduced to the library’s
resources and facilities. A brief session highlighted the role of libraries in
education and personal growth, encouraging the students to develop a habit of
reading and exploring knowledge through books. Educational
and Recreational Visit to the Eco Park After
the academic activities, the students were taken to the Eco Park within the
college premises. This visit combined education with recreation, as the
students explored the park’s natural beauty. The Eco Park offered a serene and
relaxing environment, and the students enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere while
also gaining insights into the significance of environmental awareness. The
“Academic Outreach and Children’s Day Celebration” program successfully combined
education, creativity and recreation, leaving a lasting impression on the
visiting students. The event not only celebrated Children’s Day but also
strengthened the bond between the college and the local community, reinforcing
the college's commitment to its institutional social responsibility. The
students of Teok Mojdur LP School expressed their gratitude for the warm
hospitality and the engaging activities. The program concluded with a vote of
