Activities of Health and Sanitation Cell

Title: - Occasion of International Yoga Day, a program was jointly organized by the Medical Cell, Health and Sanitation cell and NSS Wings of our College. The meeting presided over by Mamoni Gogoi Boruah, Vice-Principal of the College Mr Mayasankar Verma from Jorhat Nehru Yuva Kendra was the chief guest for the Occasion. 'PADUM '-The NGO from Kaliapani Block also Participated in the Programme, a lecture was delivered by the chief guest wherein he deliberated on the necessity for having a good health, for all round Development.In this Context, he spoke about the benefits of Yoga and that it ought to be made a compulsory part of our life. Madhurya Sarma from NYK,Jorhat also deliberated on the usefulness of Yoga in today's hectic life. Mr Dhoroni Pathak, president of PADUM (NGO)also asked the students to Participated with him in a short exercise demonstration. They were provided training in Yoga keeping up to the Celebration of International Yoga Day
