Activities of Extension Activity Cell

Title: - EXTENSION ACTIVITIES WEEK

Summary: -
The Extension Activty Cell, CKB College Teok arranged a week long programme  named as "EXTENSION ACTIVITIES WEEK" from 1st March to 6th March 2021 at near by area of the college. As per decision of the meeting of the cell held on 26th Feb 2021 at the chamber  of Principal the schedule of the programme was finalized. Separate agenda for each day of the week were listed and separate teams for each day programme were constituted with a group of teachers and a group of students for smooth running of the event as mentioned below-

DAY 1 (01/03/2021)
Activity- Social Awareness
Venue - Teok Telia Gaon
Name of the activity- Distribution of leaflets.
Team- prof. Jintoo Rajkhowa
           prof. Gita Sharma
           prof. Jayanta Pathak
           prof. Monika Mili
           prof. Dipen Patra
    and 20 numbers of students.
OUTCOME: The team went to the village ( Teok Telia Gaon) belonging basically scheduled caste community  and distributed leaf lets door to door to aware the people to remove anti-social, anti- drug activities.

DAY 2 (02/03/2021)
Activity- Social Awareness
Venue -Kawoimari
Nature of the activity- Distribution of leaflets.
Team- prof. Chitra Duwara
           prof. Nizora Boruah
           prof. Mainu Teronpi
           prof. Deepak Sharma
           prof. Ujjiwibita Phukan
    along with 20 numbers of students.
OUTCOME: The team went to the village and distributed leaf lets door to door to aware the people to remove anti-social, anti- drug activities.

DAY 3 (03/03/2021)
Activity-Girls Health Awareness
Venue -Namsisu
Team- prof. D. N. Boruah

           prof. Robin Saikia
           prof. Archana Konwar
           prof. Karabi gogoi
           prof. Abhijit Bhuyan
  along with 20 numbers of students.
OUTCOME: The team went to Namsisu to aware the parents and guardians belonging to Tea Tribes about their girl child and distributed leaflets among them.

DAY 4 (04/03/2021)
Activity- Road Safety Awareness
Venue - Teok and Jogduar
Nature of the activity- Distribution of leaflets.

           prof. Jibon Boruah
           prof. Martin Youah
           along with 20 numbers of students.
OUTCOME: The team went to the Teok Town and Jogduar Tini Ali to distribute leaflets among the public, passengers, drivers for making awareness and for taking steps regarding safety of people.

DAY 5  (05/03/2021)
Activity- Voters Awareness
Venue - Teok Tea Estate
Nature of the activity-Aware the people by Distributing  leaflets.

 along with 20 numbers of students.
OUTCOME: The team went to the garden and door to door visited  all the households belonging to Tea tribes community to aware them regarding casting of votes.

DAY 6 (06/03/2021)
Activity- Career Awareness
Venue - Bamunpukhuri High School, Bamunpukhuri and Hanhchara High School, Hanhchara
Nature of the activity- Motivational programmes among the students in secondary level.

  along with the representatives of Student Union of the college
OUTCOME:The team visited the Bamunpukhuri and Hanhchara High Schools and arranged orientation programmes in the school separately with audio- visual Aids for motivating them to higher education and for encouraging them to build career after leaving High School Stage.



 TOTAL OUTCOME OF THE WEEK : The Eextension Activity Cell was able to  make good will and stand as motivating unit in the greater Teok area through the observation of this week successfully. The co-operation from every corner of the society, from public to police persons of Teok Police Station and from students to gurdians were most noticeable. All the students participated in all days were benifitted   by acquiring knowledge of organizing skills and understanding social issues and problems  available in the society.
